I grew up in Massachusetts, always having always love for nature and the ocean. Suffering from migraines pain as a child through adulthood, which impacted my everyday life greatly. I tried everything to relieve them. I was eventually introduced to biofeedback which helped greatly. During a biofeedback session I would listen to guided meditations and it taught me to relax my body and mind which helped minimize the pain from my migraines. It was during this time I became interested in learning about meditation as well as yoga. I started reading books on both and eventually found my way into a local yoga studio where I had taken my first yoga class. I instantly fell in love with yoga. I started practicing both yoga and meditation as much as possible. As I got older I was working as a hairstylist and life got busy & more stressful. My migraines would get worse and I would take breaks from my yoga mat and meditation practice because I felt like I couldn’t keep up with it. I wasn’t living the healthiest lifestyle or eating healthy either. I was given different medications to try but they all would make me feel tired and out of it. I just didn’t feel good. I needed to change the way I was living. I started getting back on my mat daily and which lead to eating healthy and making better decisions for my body and mind. My life started to feel more balanced and less stressed. It was during that time period of my life that I fully noticed what an impact yoga and meditation had on helping my body and mind to ease the pain that my migraines would cause. When I practiced often, my migraines would occur less frequently and with less intensity just like they did when I was going to biofeedback. I dedicated fully to my yoga and meditation practice because not only did I truly enjoy it as much as I enjoyed dance but I also realized the incredible benefits that it was giving to my body and mind. The link between yoga, meditation and biofeedback was that there was meditation in biofeedback which was causing stress relief and teaching me to relax my body and mind, just as I found that yoga and meditation were doing for me. Yoga taught me it was ok to be myself without judgement & how to tune into my body, slow down my thoughts and learn to breathe. I found that after every class I gained a calmer mind stronger body and a sense of peace that I had never felt from anything else before. I continued to take classes from different studios and teachers as well as keep up a home practice. In 2014 decided to pursue a yoga teacher training. I completed my teacher trainings and I am currently a RYT- 500, holding several other certifications in Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, Adaptive Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Trauma Informed Yoga, as well as Thai Massage. I have held retreats and workshops locally and internationally. In my free time, I enjoy my own yoga practice, often outdoors when weather permits. I also enjoy spending time at the beach or in nature with my pup, reading, and traveling.

What I hope you find in your practice

I teach yoga and meditation because they are incredible tools that worked for me but are proven to help relieve stress and tension. When you practice with me, I hope you find peace and stillness on your yoga mat. Yoga is truly for every body, there is no right or wrong way to practice. The most important thing in yoga is honoring your body and what it needs while focusing on your breath. Yoga and meditation both help with stress & pain management as well as anxiety, sports injuries and so much more. I offer meditation & yoga classes varying from chair yoga, restorative, slow flow Vinyasa, Yin, and more. You will find I tend to balance different styles of yoga together to make a unique class.

Practicing with me, I hope you feel welcome and at ease as you gain a sense of peace on your mat. I wish to teach you how to tune in to your body and mind while showing you a new way to breathe to help alleviate daily stress & how to find peace in your body and mind on and off your mat. When practice is complete, I hope you feel grounded, and restored with a overall feeling of calm. I look forward to sharing in practice with you.
